How Intelliverses handles personal data for the human-first collaboration platform, including Google Sign-In, contributions, organizations, and optional integrations.

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Effective: August 3, 2026

Applies to: intelliverses.com and the Intelliverses application

1. Introduction

Intelliverses ("we", "us", or "our") operates intelliverses.com and the Intelliverses human-first professional collaboration platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to you.

This policy is written for individuals, professionals, mentors, and organizations using Intelliverses for contributions, projects, communities, Trust, Reputation, portfolio, hiring, and related collaboration features.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are

Intelliverses is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service, unless an organization workspace is configured such that the organization acts as controller for workspace content under a separate agreement.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account and authentication data

Name, email address, password (hashed; never stored in plain text), username, professional role, skills intent, organization memberships, preferences, and session/security metadata.

If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google account identifiers and profile fields you authorize (typically name, email address, profile image, and a unique Google subject ID) so we can create or link your Intelliverses account.

Collaboration content

Profiles, portfolios, organizations, communities, projects, tasks, contributions, reviews, knowledge documents, feed posts, stories, messages, events, mentorship sessions, opportunity applications, and related workspace activity you create or upload.

Trust, Reputation, and Time Credits

Signals derived from verified contributions, human review outcomes, moderation actions, and related activity. Time Credits record contribution proof and are never sold or converted into money.

Optional connected sources

If you connect integrations such as Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, or other connectors: content within the OAuth scopes you approve for those features.

Connected source data is separate from Google Sign-In. Connecting a source is optional and can be revoked at any time.

Usage and technical data

Feature usage, device/browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, diagnostics, error logs, and cookies or similar technologies required for authentication, security, and service operation.

Communications

Messages you send to support, contact, feedback, or security channels, and related correspondence.

4. Google Sign-In and Google Account Data

Intelliverses offers Google Sign-In so you can create an account or authenticate without a separate password.

When you choose Continue with Google, Google authenticates you and shares with Intelliverses only the information you approve in the Google consent screen.

  • Purpose: account creation, login, identity verification, and account recovery.
  • Typical data received: name, email address, profile photo URL, and Google account unique ID.
  • We store this data with your Intelliverses user profile to keep you signed in and prevent duplicate accounts.
  • We do not use Google Sign-In profile data for advertising, credit scoring, or unrelated profiling.
  • You may disconnect Google Sign-In by contacting support or by removing Intelliverses access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If Google is your only login method, set a password or another method before disconnecting so you can still access your account.

5. Google API Services: Limited Use Disclosure

Intelliverses' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Policy reference: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

  • Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the requesting application's user interface.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you give affirmative consent for a specific support case, it is necessary for security/abuse investigation, or we are required by law.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, for security, or where required by law.
  • We do not use Google user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
  • Optional Gmail/Drive connectors, if enabled by you, use only the scopes you approve and can be disconnected at any time from Dashboard Settings.

6. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to operate, secure, and improve Intelliverses. We do not sell your personal data.

  • Provide collaboration features: profiles, projects, communities, contributions, messaging, knowledge, portfolio, and hiring tools.
  • Authenticate users (including Google Sign-In) and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
  • Compute Trust, Reputation, discovery ranking, and portfolio signals from verified human-reviewed activity.
  • Power optional operational AI (for example search enhancement, moderation assistance, accessibility, or security) when enabled. AI is not required for core contribution workflows.
  • Send transactional emails such as verification, security alerts, and service notices.
  • Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve reliability and product quality.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

8. How We Share Your Data

We share data only when necessary to operate the Service, at your direction, or when required by law.

Infrastructure providers

Hosting, databases, caching, email delivery, and related processors that help us run Intelliverses under confidentiality and data-processing obligations where applicable.

Identity providers

Google, when you use Google Sign-In or connect Google APIs. Data flows according to your Google consent and Google's policies.

Public profiles and discovery

Content you choose to make public (for example portfolio items or community posts) may be visible to other users and indexed for discovery within the platform.

Legal and safety

When disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents.

9. Data Retention

We retain account and collaboration data while your account is active. After account deletion, we remove personal data from active systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention needs. Encrypted backups may retain residual data for up to 90 days before automatic purge.

You can delete records and disconnect integrations from your dashboard. Disconnecting Google access immediately stops new Google API calls with that token.

10. Security

We apply industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, access controls, hashed passwords, session protections, rate limiting, and tenant isolation where applicable. Enterprise workspaces may include additional controls such as MFA and audit logs.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account is compromised, contact security@intelliverses.com immediately.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

  • Update profile: Dashboard → Settings → Profile.
  • Request account deletion or data export: email contact@intelliverses.com.
  • Disconnect optional sources: Dashboard → Settings → Sources.
  • Manage Google permissions independently: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
  • Control cookies in your browser. Essential cookies are required for login and security.

12. International Data Transfers

Intelliverses may process data in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

13. Children

Intelliverses is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact contact@intelliverses.com if you believe a child has created an account and we will delete it promptly.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
